Which tropical fish are the best to put in a new aquarium?
I have 9 neon tetra in an 80 litre aquarium. What do you suggest I add next? The tank has live plant and some rocks and it’s been up and running for nearly 2 weeks.

You should get the Mollies or Platties, they are not that expensive, and they are not that great. They are beautiful too.

Fish release ammonia in urine and solid waste in the aquarium water. Over time, this can be incorporated into the fish waste, especially during the first few weeks of a new aquarium. Fortunately, these beneficial bacteria, called nitrifying bacteria alter the fish waste (ammonia and nitrite), a harmless product called nitrate. The bacteria, known as the “biological filter” of the aquarium. This is necessary, the bacteria needs time to grow and develop. If too many fish at once, or if too much food is added, the ammonia and nitrite levels will rise to toxic levels. Check and adjust the pH and ammonia in the tank periodically using test strips and chemicals, which can be purchased at local pet säilyttää.Hitaasti a new, non-aggressive species of aquarium. I suugest to add to the bottom feeder and algae eaters to help maintain the cleanliness of the tank. Choose a quiet species, such as swordtails, guppies, TETRAS and lyrics. Other useful fish are bottom-scavengers, such as Corydoras catfish, which lives at the bottom of the root crops of food and gravel. Pleco catfish and the flying fox will help keep the aquarium clean eating algae, grow the plants, stones and bottles.

Now I know that whatever you want to fish in the tank and regulations of the relevant parameters (pH, water hardness, salinity). 2 weeks, w / fish in the tank, the tank can now be recycled. You can be sure to pick up the ammonia and nitrite test also confirms the fish will not hurt the environment did. Otherwise, all is well that it did not die haluat.Pitää fun with it.

Is neon TETRAS. Cory is a pandas, and with them a lower feeder, and clean gravel. I also have a penguin TETRAS, male Betta and Mollies ramierzi blue. Not compatible with all the good fish.

I would like to wait a month or more, or Neons life. Neontetra require fresh water and destroy the disease relatively quickly to the new tank. The disease is fatal without treatment and contaminate the rest of the fish tanks.
